Rowlett Wet Zone Waterpark opens Memorial Day weekend alongside the city’s first-ever car, truck & motorcycle show
Rowlett, TX – May 2026 – Rowlett is turning up the heat this Memorial Day weekend with two signature events on Saturday, May 23. The Wet Zone Waterpark opens for its 2026 summer season at 5304 Main Street while Downtown Rowlett hosts the first-ever Rowlett Rides from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. – a car, truck, and motorcycle show plus concert. Both events aim to give attendees two great reasons to celebrate.
The Wet Zone will welcome guests with daily admission tickets, season passes, and cooler passes available online or at the gate, with Rowlett residents receiving discounted pricing with proof of residency.
Rowlett Rides, presented in partnership with Mustang Sally Productions, transforms Downtown Rowlett into a celebration of cars, culture, and community. Cars, trucks, and motorcycles will line the streets alongside food trucks, local businesses, and a live performance by The Jukebox Heroes, a Dallas-based live entertainment band.
“There is no better feeling than watching this community come alive,” said Rowlett Mayor Jeff Winget. “From the Wet Zone to Downtown Rowlett, this weekend is a reflection of who we are: a city full of energy, pride, and people who show up for each other.”
From the sounds of splashing water at the Wet Zone to the roar of engines rolling through Downtown, there has never been a better weekend to be a part of Rowlett.
