HOA Connect and North Texas Municipal Water District will bring regional experts to Rockwall County Library on Oct. 10
ROCKWALL, Texas — HOA board members, property managers and other local professionals are invited to learn how their communities can save water, reduce landscaping costs and create more sustainable outdoor spaces during a free HOA Landscape Innovations Forum in Rockwall.
Presented by HOA Connect and the North Texas Municipal Water District, the Rockwall forum will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in the Rockwall County Library Meeting Room, 1215 E. Yellowjacket Lane.
The event is part of a four-forum series featuring regional experts on North Texas water resources, water-efficient landscaping and strategies to reduce outdoor water use and landscaping costs. Each forum will cover the same core topics, although speakers may vary by location.
Attendees will learn practical approaches to reducing outdoor water use and landscaping expenses, including developing seasonal irrigation schedules and using smart irrigation technology such as controllers, flow meters and high-efficiency nozzles.
Additional topics include replacing seasonal color beds with native and adaptive plants, assessing and improving soil health, and building successful partnerships with landscape and irrigation contractors.
The forums are designed for current and former HOA board members, licensed property management professionals, licensed landscape and irrigation professionals, and municipal employees.
