Dallas, TX – November 12, 2025 – The Dallas Economic Development Corporation (Dallas EDC), an independent nonprofit driving business investment, job creation, and inclusive growth across Dallas, today announced the appointment of Wanwan (Karina) Yue, Ph.D., as Data Analyst.
Dr. Yue will be responsible for the Dallas EDC’s data strategy, leveraging advanced analytics and research to inform decision-making, track economic impact, and identifying emerging opportunities that support the city’s sustainable and equitable development.
“Data analytics is how we will tell Dallas’s story to the world,” said Linda McMahon, CEO of the Dallas EDC. “Karina’s deep expertise will help us better understand market trends, measure our outcomes, and solidify Dallas’s reputation as a top-tier business destination that offers opportunity for all.”
Dr. Yue brings a strong background in economics and quantitative research to the role. She earned her Doctorate in Economics from The University of Texas at Dallas, where she served as a Visiting Assistant Professor, conducting research on market behavior and energy economics. She also holds a Master of Science in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
