Fate, TX – August 18, 2025 – Whataburger fans in Fate won’t have to drive far to enjoy their favorite burgers, fries, and iconic orange-and-white-striped fun anymore. Whataburger of Mesquite (WoM) is proud to announce the grand opening of Fate’s first Whataburger at 4810 E. Interstate 30, bringing fresh, customized burgers, Fancy and Spicy Ketchup, and local pride to the community.
The restaurant opens its doors with a soft opening on Wednesday, August 20 at 10 p.m., followed by the official opening on Thursday, August 21 at 11 a.m. To mark the occasion, the first drive-thru customer and the first dining room customer will each receive gift baskets, and guests can pick up exclusive Whataburger swag on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (while supplies last).
The new restaurant pays homage to Whataburger’s rich history while embracing a forward-thinking design. Guests will enjoy a double drive-thru, spacious dining room, and state-of-the-art kitchen, all designed to provide the best service possible. A custom interior mural also highlights Fate’s unique local identity.
Operating Partner Tim Navarro will lead the restaurant’s team of local employees, known as Team Members, ensuring Whataburger’s signature hospitality is at the heart of every visit.
