Today at approximately 11:10am, the Rowlett Police received a 911 call reporting a kidnapping of a 4-month-old infant girl from the 9700 block of Lakeview Parkway (SH66).
The caller was identified as the mother of the child. The suspect was identified by the mother as Marquaveon Catlin-Glover.
Catlin-Glover had an outstanding robbery arrest warrant.
Officers located the suspect and attempted a traffic stop. The suspect fled and crashed into another vehicle at Centerville Road and State Higway 66 in Garland. The suspect was taken into custody by Rowlett Police officers.
According to a press release, Catlin-Glover was processed into the Rowlett City Jail on charges including:
- Robbery arrest warrant
- Possession of stolen firearm
- Evading arrest in vehicle
- Endangering a child
- Unlawfully carrying a weapon
- Possession of marijuana under 5 pounds.
The investigation is ongoing.
