An Evening of Books, Business & Conversation at The Algiers Club

Conversations surrounding leadership, legacy, emotional intelligence, and modern culture filled The Algiers Club in Heath on Friday, May 22, as friends, readers, and local professionals gathered for a special double book signing featuring authors David Vega and Bill Bromley.

Hosted by The Algiers Club of Heath, the evening reflected the club’s focus on cultivating meaningful social experiences, thoughtful conversation, and community connection in an elevated and welcoming atmosphere. Guests enjoyed cocktails, networking, and engaging discussion throughout the evening while connecting directly with both authors and fellow attendees.

David Vega signed copies of both books in his Fool for Thought series, including Fool for Thought and Fool for Sentiment. Inspired by reflective philosophy and modern introspection, the series explores themes of reason, empathy, conscience, identity, and the emotional foundations of morality. Through the collection, Vega invites readers into a deeper examination of how people think, feel, and live.

Bill Bromley signed copies of his newly released book Legacy Deals: From Hustle to High-Stakes Mergers and Acquisitions, a candid look into entrepreneurship, business growth, and the realities of building companies designed for long-term value. Drawing from decades of firsthand experience, Bromley shares lessons learned from the early hustle of entrepreneurship to navigating high-level mergers, acquisitions, and exit strategies.

Rather than offering polished corporate theory, Legacy Deals presents what Bromley describes as a practical field guide for founders, business owners, and entrepreneurs looking to build companies intentionally and create lasting impact.

Throughout the evening, attendees had the opportunity to purchase books, receive personalized signed copies, and engage in one-on-one conversations with the authors about business leadership, personal growth, legacy-building, and modern culture.

The gathering reflected a growing interest in Rockwall County for events that blend business insight, literature, and authentic community conversation — creating spaces where ideas, storytelling, and professional experience can come together in meaningful ways.
