When the coronavirus outbreak initially began, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention listed three symptoms of the newly-discovered virus: cough, shortness of breath and fever. On Sunday, the CDC added six new possible symptoms to its list, including headache, chills and loss of taste or smell.

The newly-added symptoms added include:

  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

The CDC warns that these symptoms can appear any time between two to 14 days after exposure to the virus.

Rockwall County has a total of seventy confirmed cases as of April 26, 2020 at 10:00am.
