Dallas PD searching for 19-year-old suspect in murder of Rowlett HS graduate

On March 22, 2020, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the victim, 20-year-old Kaleb Simpson, a graduate of Rowlett High School, was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Summerwood Cove Apartments at 9821 Summerwood Circle in Dallas. The suspects were driving what is believed to be a dark blue 2013 or newer Nissan Altima. The vehicle was caught entering the apartment complex immediately before the murder and exiting immediately after. The vehicle has factory wheels and a temporary paper license plate. There is no window tint and the front passenger side running lamp is out.

Through the course of the investigation the Dallas Police Homicide Unit identified Julian Mekai Sesalem, a 19-year-old white male, as a suspect in the murder of Kaleb Simpson on March 22, 2020 at 9821 Summerwood Circle in Dallas. Sesalem currently has an active murder warrant and is wanted by Dallas Police. Another suspect is pictured above, but has not yet been identified.
