Kathleen “Katy” (Hampton) Messer, age 58, of Benbrook, TX, passed away on June 8, 2020. She was born on January 12, 1962, in Wichita, KS, to Cecil Millard Hampton and Virginia Lee (Frazier) Hampton. She was a member of Eagles View Baptist Church in Saginaw, TX. Katy was a very giving person. She loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. She could start a conversation with just about anyone. Katy loved to travel. The beach was always her favorite destination. Katy’s presence will be deeply missed by everyone that loved her.
Katy is survived by her brothers: Larry Hampton and wife Nancy, and David Hampton and wife Leona; sisters: Debbie Srock and husband Gene, and Anne Wagner and husband Bill; two stepchildren: Ashley Messer and her son Maverick, and Mike Messer; two nephews; three nieces; and two great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Rocky Messer.
