RB’s Sound House is about to shake up Rockwall’s cultural scene
Rockwall, TX – Rockwall’s cultural landscape is expanding with the opening of RB’s Sound House & Art Collective, a new music venue, recording studio, event space, and rotating art gallery located in Rockwall Square at 206 E. Washington Street. Designed to support musicians, visual artists, comedians, and creatives of all backgrounds, the venue officially opens to the public on February 1, with an invite-only soft opening celebration scheduled for February 6.
Founded by local artist and producer Randy Aragon, who performs under the name Russo Binks, RB’s Sound House was created to provide a professional, welcoming environment where artists can create, collaborate, and share their work, without leaving town. The space includes a fully equipped recording studio, an intimate performance venue for live music and comedy, and an on-site gallery highlighting local and regional artists.
“RB’s Sound House was created to give artists a professional and welcoming space to grow and share their work,” Aragon said. “We’re excited to contribute to Rockwall’s cultural scene and help bring diverse voices into the spotlight.”
Programming at RB’s Sound House will include open mic nights, live music and comedy shows, music and voice lessons, creative workshops, and community-centered events such as paint-and-sip classes and mixology nights. The goal is to create an inclusive creative hub that serves both working artists and community members who want to engage more deeply with the arts.
Located in the heart of Rockwall, RB’s Sound House represents a growing movement to nurture local culture and creativity within the city’s historic downtown. The project was supported by friends, family, and community members who contributed time, resources, and encouragement throughout the renovation process.
RB’s Sound House embraces the motto “All are welcome,” reflecting its mission to foster connection, creativity, and cultural growth in Rockwall.
