Donna Sue Moon, age 84, and long-time resident of the North Dallas area passed away February 12, 2022. She was born November 29, 1937, in Fort Worth, Texas. Donna grew up in Dalhart, TX. She attended college at Stephens College in Columbia, MO. Donna worked many years as a travel/event coordinator for different companies like Lennox and Celanese. She sold Avon and proudly made the President’s Club most years. She loved dancing, music, and enjoyed being a former dance coordinator for the Richardson Senior Center. Donna was very involved with the North Dallas AA Group and had received her 37-year chip last May celebrating her sobriety. She loved her family, especially her grandsons. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Donna is survived by her sons: Tom Moon and wife Jennifer of Rockwall, TX, and Dan Moon of Rockwall, TX; and grandsons: Ryan Moon and Jake Moon. She was preceded in death by her sister: Linda Childers; and her parents: J.C. Parker and Mary Dee Parker.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held 11:00am Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
