Laura Jeann Bortz, age 74, of Garland, TX, passed away on January 7, 2022. She was born September 4, 1947, in Geneva, OH, to Paul Daniel Bortz and Eleanor Augusta (Lehman) Bortz. Laura served her country as a Sargent in the Air Force. She worked as an executive for JC Penney. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Laura is survived by her sons: Shawn Hall, Daniel Bortz and wife Lisa, and James Bortz and wife Debra; and grandchildren: Anissa, Ethan, Brooke, Shane, Alexia, Garrett, and Andrew.
A celebration of Laura’s life will be held 1:00pm Friday, January 21, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location with Pastor John Carl officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
