Steven Edward Ramage, 84, born in San Diego to Ray Oscar Ramage and Frances Ramage on November 14, 1937. He was welcomed home by Our Lord on December 23, 2021.
Steve attended San Diego State and received a Doctorate of Law from Southwestern University in 1973. Steve started his career in aerospace working on the Apollo missions. Later he transitioned into corporate law working for Rockwell International, E-Systems, Raytheon and L3 Communications. Steve also had his own mediation law firm serving Rockwall County District Courts. He served the Lord faithfully every day of his life with prayer and a daily devotional. He had a special love and respect for Wounded Warriors.
Steven is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirlee Mae Ramage; daughter: Stephanie Howard and husband Greg; son: Steve DeLoach and wife Dawn; and grandsons: Gavin Howard, Grayson Howard, and Gabriel Howard. They were very special to Papa. He loved those boys so much, and they loved him. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Frances Ramage; and brother: Ray Ramage.
Services to celebrate Steven’s homegoing are to be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Reflections Chapel at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall location. Burial will follow the service in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of friends and loved ones will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall location.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates of Rockwall) organization.
