John Frederick Schnabel, age 61 of Royse City, TX, passed away December 19, 2021, in Dallas, TX. He was born April 10, 1960, in Lakewood, OH, to Frederick Martin “Fritz” Schnabel and Anita Jean (Bergman) Schnabel. John was an electrical technician for Texas Instruments from 1982 to 2017, and retired after 35 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed membership in Big D Little Birds Classic Thunderbird Club.
John is survived by his sisters: Jeani Ward and husband Bruce, and Kitti Schreiber and husband Chuck; nieces and nephews: Samantha Welch and husband Mark, Katrina Schreiber, Fred Schreiber and wife Madison, Nathan Ward and wife Claire, and Sarah Mueller and husband Lukas. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Diane (Bachman) Schnabel; and by his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday evening, December 28, 2021, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
