It is with the heaviest hearts that we announce the passing of George “Kenneth” Lattig.
Kenneth was born in June 23, 1975, and passed into the Loving Arms of God on December 27, 2021.

Kenneth was known by all he met by his smile – a smile that literally lit up a room when he walked in. He was compassionate, kind and generous; for some it’s cliché but for Kenneth it’s was the truth – He would literally give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. That’s just the kind of man he was.

Kenneth cared deeply and loved strongly, and it showed remarkably in his 27 year relationship and 23 year marriage to his childhood sweetheart, as well as in the way he fathered their two beautiful children.

Kenneth demonstrated what it was like to have “a life well lived” in many areas – whether it was his faithfulness to Christian World, the church he and his family attended, the respect and esteem he earned from his peers during his 24 years of service at the North Texas Municipal Water District or in the stories of friends that expressed his willingness to always lend a helping hand or a kind word.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his Mother Karen Mckown. He is survived by his loving wife, Billie Lattig; children Austin and Autumn Lattig; his step-father, Johnny Mckown; sister: Tammy Henson and husband David; brother: Jerry Lattig and wife Kristi; and many nieces and nephews; grandparents: Kenneth Hawkins and Rita; parents-in-law, Garry and Donna Reeves; brother-in-law: Curtis Reeves and wife Tina.

The family will receive friends and loved ones for graveside services to be held at 10:00 AM, at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Rockwall, Texas.
A memorial to celebrate Kenneth’s life will follow the graveside beginning at 12:00 PM at Christian World Church at 891 Abrams Rd, Richardson, TX, 75081, with Pastor George Hancock officiating.
