Kevin Patrick Holloway

Kevin Patrick Holloway, age 38, of Caddo Mills, TX, passed away on October 14, 2021. He was born to Ronnie and MaryAnn on July 10, 1983, in Irving, TX. Kevin was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend. Growing up, Kevin loved bowling, singing karaoke, four-wheeling, mudding, racing dirt bikes, and go-karts. In high school, he ran cross-country, played basketball and football. He graduated from Hemingford High School in Hemingford, NE, in 2002. After graduation, Kevin joined the Army. SGT Kevin Holloway was a 19K Armor Crewman. He deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom with C Company 3rd Battalion 8th Cavalry, 3rd Brigade, First Cavalry Division in March 2004 and returned in March 2005. He participated as a tank driver in the November offensive of Fallujah Operation Phantom Fury. He was honorably discharged in 2007, and soon after, met his soulmate Shelby Reaves. They were married on November 14, 2009. Together they have four wonderful children. He worked hard to provide a home filled with love and laughter for his family. Kevin will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife Shelby Holloway of Caddo Mills, TX; his children: Jackson, Andrew, Willow, and Madelyn; his mother: MaryAnn Randall (husband Tom Randall) of Bayard, NE; sisters: Jennifer Bohlen of Missoula, MT, and Jamie Holloway (her children Dalaney, Dallas, and Declan) of Bayard, NE; brother: Christopher Holloway (wife Vaiauro and their children Isaiah, Marcus, Lily, and David) of Missoula, MT; grandmother: Betty Holloway of Royse City, TX; stepbrothers: Jeff and Danny Randall of Nebraska; his best friend Ricky Carty of Caddo Mills, TX; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Ronald “Ronnie” Holloway; grandfathers: Charles Holloway and Theodore Bohlen; grandmother: Barbara Bohlen; and brother-in-laws: William Reaves and George Eagle Elk.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at The Quest Church, 6107 I-30 Frontage Rd, Royse City, TX 75189. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
