Hudson Rollins White passed away peacefully in his parents’ arms on October 16, 2021, and was immediately welcomed into the loving embrace of our Lord and Savior.

Hudson was born on June 30, 2021, at 5 lbs 4 oz with soft blonde hair, long eyelashes, and an incredible fighting spirit. He had his mother’s chin and his daddy’s blue eyes. He loved being held, was doted on by his siblings, and captured the hearts of anyone who was blessed to know him. He loved showers and his pacifier, woke up most mornings happy and cooing, would watch any fan that was turned on, and enjoyed FaceTiming with anyone willing to talk.

His short life was not without trials, but in those trials, Hudson fought with a strength that could only have come from our Lord. He taught us about unconditional love, selflessness, and faith.

Those of us left behind will never know this side of heaven why his time with us was so short. What we do know is that God doesn’t make mistakes. He sent Hudson to us and he finished his task. Hudson entered the gates of Heaven and met our Savior. And He said to him, “well done my good and faithful servant.” Because though his time with us was short, his impact has a reach far beyond a limited number of days.

He changed all of us – to see him, to hold him, to love him. With him, we held heaven closer than we ever have.

Hudson is survived by his parents, Justin & Amy White; brothers, Brennan Craft and Ryland White; sister, Taylor Craft; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends.
