Lydia Agnes Allen, age 79 years of Rowlett, TX, passed away August 30, 2021. She was born February 8, 1942, in Germany to Emil and Jarmila Maria (Marek) Ohlbach. Lydia loved her family. She was both mother and father to her boys for years and they thought she was one of a kind. She and her son Danny were business partners since 1988. Lydia was proud of her two granddaughters and considered them the “most beautiful girls in the whole world.” For most of her life she enjoyed painting and was known for her love of Engelbert Humperdinck’s music.
Lydia is survived by her sons: David Allen and wife Linda, Daniel “Danny” Allen; granddaughters: Annelise Allen and Annslee-Hope Allen; sisters: Michelle Martin and husband Chuck, Eileen Kelly and husband Gerald; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold Nolan Allen, and sister Inge Reck.
