Lidoine Castillo, 76, a lifetime Dallas County resident, passed from this life on August 31, 2021. Lidoine was born in Durango, Mexico, to Carmen Lopez Munoz, on August 24, 1945.
Lidoine was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lidoine is survived by her children: Yesenia Munoz, Elydania Munoz Torres, Jose Hector Munoz, and Coti Maria Castillo; grandchildren: Melina Sanchez, Antonio Barrientos, Jr., Valerie Torres, Nathalie Torres, Karina Ortega, Ninfa Jasmin Salazar, Antelmo Salazar, Jr., Antonio Torres, Jr., Alex Barrientos, Samantha Torres, Hector Javier Quintanilla, Hector Munoz, Jr., Ethan Munoz, Abel Munoz, and Nina Munoz; great-grandchildren: Maddison Lopez, Mila Michelle Barrientos, David Lopez, Eloy Axel Barrientos, Penelope Rose Sanchez, Addilin Lopez, Rosaleigh Ortega, Antonio Bane Barrientos III, Leo Sanchez, Maile De La Cruz; sisters: Francisca Acosta and husband Cornelio, Guadalupe Hernandez and husband Valentin. Lidoine is preceded in death by her mother and brother: Jose Flores.
A funeral service to celebrate Lidoine is to be held on September 13, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall, Texas, with burial in Rest Haven Memorial park to follow. There will be a gathering of friends and loved ones on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location.
