Barry Dale Jordan, age 69, a long-time resident of Rockwall, TX, passed away on June 18, 2021. He was born August 26, 1951, in Dallas, TX, to Kenneth Jordan and Adeline (Mueller) Jordan. Barry was a member of Lake Pointe Church of Rockwall. He was well respected as a top structural engineer in the Dallas area and with this expertise started his own company, Texas Professional Engineering Inspections. Some of his hobbies included wood and metalworking, racing sailboats and motorcycles, and working on electronics and robotics. Barry met his wife, Lisa, through mutual friends in Rockwall and the two were engaged on July 4th and were married July 16, 1992. He loved his golden retriever, Ranger and deeply loved his family more than life itself.
Barry is survived by his loving wife: Lisa Jordan of Quinlan, TX; children: Brittany Kirkpatrick and husband Dennis of Rockwall, TX, Taylor Jordan of Ft. Worth, TX, and Jared Jordan of Quinlan, TX; and grandchildren: Clayton, Everett, Riley and Finley. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Jaclyn Brooke Jordan; and by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location with Don French officiating. Interment to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Edgewood, TX. A Gathering for family and friends will be held prior to services beginning from 10:00am to 11:00am at the funeral home. Friends and family are welcome to join the family for lunch at The Lumber Yard Café in Edgewood, TX, following the graveside service.
