Francine Kellie (Parsons) Larsen passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 83, after a full life.  Kellie was born on January 2, 1937 in Vallejo, California, the oldest child of Georgina (Kelly) and Francis Parsons. Kellie grew up between the bustling streets of San Francisco and the quiet town of Esparta California, amongst the almond groves.   Kellie was known as “The Girl with Dancing Feet”.  Prior to meeting Roy Larsen, Kellie had 3 children: Stephanie, Mark, and Geoff from a previous marriage.

November 11, 1967, Kellie married Roy Larsen.  Instantly, her family grew from 3 children to 7 children.  In July of 1970, John, the youngest of her children was born.  One of Kellie’s passions was to cook and exposed her children to a wide variety of foods.  Kellie and Roy had many adventures in life to include living in England for almost a year, cruising all over the world, and many trips to Disney World.

In her mid-30’s, Kellie renewed her love for God and committed her life to Jesus as her Lord and Savior.  She loved sharing her faith with her family and friends.  She loved to sing and some of her favorite hymns were “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling”.  During her 20-year tenure in Rockwall Texas, Kellie attended both the Rockwall First Baptist Church and Rockwall United Methodist Church.  Kellie was quite active in the local “Newcomers” group.

Kellie enjoyed working. She was an executive secretary, dentist office manager, and entrepreneur.  She was involved in Mary Kay and Color Me Beautiful.  She owned and operated a small boutique shop, Kellie-L and was a Color Consultant, for 5 years when she lived in Lake County, California.

Kellie is survived by her beloved Roy Larsen, husband of 53 years, and her 6 children, David Larsen, Cheryl (Larsen) Linkem, Jim Larsen, Mary Larsen, John Larsen, and Geoff Wilson.
