Reno Garza, age 72 of Rowlett, TX, passed away August 1, 2020. He was born October 2, 1947, in Slaton, TX, to Valentin and Tomasa (Ledezma) Garza. Reno worked as a mechanic on oil drilling equipment. He attended the Catholic church and is remembered as faithful and caring by his family and friends.
Reno is survived by his children: Reginna Robbins of Princeton, TX, Johnnie and Lori Garza of Van Alstyne, TX, Crystal and Max Lewis of Farmersville, TX; siblings: Esther Garza, Rosa and Juan Garcia, Guadalupe Garza, Esmeraldo and Eustolio DeLeon, Israel Garza, and Marty Garza, all of Rowlett, TX, and Diana Garza of Princeton, TX; grandchildren: Austin, Braden, Gage, Maddison, Peyton, Tyler, Haley and Blake; great grandchildren: Liam, Lincoln, Kingsley and Cambry. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandchildren Gabriel and Caleb.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Location. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will gather with friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Social distancing will be practiced and face masks required.
