Frank Jones Dutton, Jr. passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 79. He was born on January 15, 1941, in Batesville, Arkansas. Frank played high school football and went on to receive a football scholarship at Hendrix College in Arkansas. After college, he taught and coached for 2 1⁄2 years in Hughes, AR. For 57 years he worked in the insurance industry and was well known and respected in his field for his knowledge. He was Executive VP and Assistant to the CEO at McQueary Henry Bowles Troy for 32 years. He was a Sunday School and avid bible teacher his entire adult life and enjoyed being a part of his church family.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 34 years: Marie G. Dutton; sons: Brad Dutton and Kyle Dutton; daughters: Lisa Means and Felicia McComas; and sister: Judy Dutton Singer. Grandchildren: David Dutton, Mateo Means, Kate Dutton, Chase McComas, Jude Dutton, Lauren McComas, and Evan McComas and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Frank Jones Dutton, Sr. and Helen Luray Dawson Dutton.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Masks will be required for everyone attending.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM with a one hour visitation prior on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Rowlett, 4309 Main St., Rowlett, TX, 75088 with Pastor Walter Guillaume and Ronnie Schrick officiating. Private family interment to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Dallas Union Gospel Mission.
