Mark Edward Niezgoda, age 61 of Rowlett, TX, passed away June 18, 2020. He was born February 7, 1959, in Massillon, OH, to Henry Thomas and Rita (Von Beseler) Niezgoda. Mark was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall. He is remembered as a loving family man and friend. He had a big appetite and an even bigger heart, and he lived life to the fullest.
Mark is survived by his wife: Rose Niezgoda, daughter: Amy Niezgoda, and son: Bryan Niezgoda all of Rowlett, TX; siblings: Terri Dew of Cleveland, OH, Niki Green and husband Richard, Stefi McGinnis, Sheila Oakes and husband Ron all of Massillon, OH, Julie Toth and husband Steve of Cleveland, Von Niezgoda of Houston, TX, and Frank Niezgoda and wife Kathy of Rockwall, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and beloved dog Lily. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Henry “Duke” Niezgoda.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rowlett Location with Fr. Leon Duesman officiating. The family requests casual dress. Due to the restrictions regarding gatherings and social distancing, only 45 people will be allowed in the building at one time. Face masks are required and must be provided by guests.
