SAGE first graders take field trip to Rockwall HS Theater Department

The SAGE first grade recently took a field trip to the RHS theater department where they experienced a learning event organized by Leigh Shelton, the RHS Theater teacher.  
 
The first-grade students rotated through five stations run by the theater students.  The rotations included running lights, directing, improv, costumes and make-up.  
 
As the students learned the most integral parts of theater, they were able to establish the framework, guidelines and details for the play Little Red Riding Hood.  
 
The high school students then performed the play using all the feedback the first graders provided.
