Pet of the week – December 30

Gretel is a 7 week old (as of 12/18/19) Anatolian Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur Mix. She’s looking for a family who is ready to take on the responsibility of puppy training and is expected to be approx. 70 lbs full-grown. Gretel was born and raised outside by her stray parents. When her mother became too rough with the puppies while weaning, Legacy Human was called upon for rescue. Gretel is doing wonderfully with potty training and is working on crate training. She loves to be with her people, enjoys playing with her foster sister dogs and doesn’t chase the cats in her foster home

The $250 donation includes three rounds of puppy vaccines and dewormer, a one year rabies vaccine, microchip and registration, and spay. If Gretel is adopted before she is spayed, the adopter will take the puppy to an LHS approved vet to be spayed in February 2020 per the spay/neuter agreement and in accordance to Chapter 828, Texas Health and Safety Code.

Please complete an adoption application and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours via email. https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/

*Due to the high volume of applications and inquires for puppies, we will not be able to respond to or consider interest from those outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
