By order of Governor Greg Abbott, the flags at all City of Rockwall facilities have been lowered to half-staff from December 7-10 as a sign of respect for the recent passing of Rockwall County Commissioner David Magness. The City of Rockwall sends its condolences to the Magness family.
“Commissioner David Magness was a devoted public servant who represented Rockwall County and his precinct with professionalism and fairness. His leadership overall, and most especially in transportation projects and planning, will continue to serve us well into the future. He will be missed as a leader and a friend,” Mayor Jim Pruitt.
