Linda Gail (Lane) Alphin, age 63, and long-time resident of Royse City, TX, passed away on September 10, 2020. She was born on January 12, 1957, in Brinkley, AR, to Elmer Ernest Lane and Venus (Haas) Lane. Linda loved the Lord and she was a member of First Baptist Church in Wylie, TX. She worked as a nurse at Lifecare 2.0 for over 17 years. Linda started as a floor nurse and worked her way up to CDI Specialist. She loved her co-workers like family. Linda enjoyed taking trips to the South Padre Island beach and making crafts with her husband. She loved her family dearly. Her presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 43 years: Michael Alphin of Royse City, TX; daughter: Megan Alphin and fiancé Charles Martin of Royse City, TX; grandson: Michael Brenden Alphin; sisters: Debbie Henderson and husband James of Athens, TX, Darlene Lane of Royse City, TX, and Gloria Marlow of Denton, TX; mother: Venus Haas Lane of Royse City, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Elmer Ernest Lane; and brother: Johnny Dennis Lane.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda Alphin’s name to the American Cancer Society.
