James C. King II passed away September 9, 2020, at his home in Rowlett, TX, at the age of 73. He was born October 20, 1946, in Refugio, TX, to James C. and Paula (Duke) King. James was a faithful member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was dedicated to his family and pets. He enjoyed reading, especially about history. He loved books, magazines and keeping up with current events. James also enjoyed traveling, and Galveston Beach was among his favorite places.
James is survived by his wife Patricia King, daughter Jacqueline Moore and husband James, and grandchildren Henry and Dolly Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral mass will be held 11:00 am Monday, September 14, 2020, at Sacred Heart Mausoleum Chapel with Fr. Giuseppe Spoto of St. Pius Church officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will gather with friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
