Jason Lee Goza, 42, a resident of Fate, Texas, passed away on August 21, 2020. Jason was born on March 15, 1978, to Leola (Fryer) Goza and Roy Wayne Goza, in Dallas, Texas.

Jason worshipped at Cornerstone Community Church in Rockwall, Texas with his family. His loving wife and two children meant the world to him. He was a quiet force that lovingly and patiently let his light shine before men so that they could see his good works and give glory to God. His light filled their home and hearts and he constantly led his wife and children to scripture, and to the goodness and truth of God. He was a loyal friend, a great listener, hard worker, servant to all, lover of all sports, but above all he adored Linsie, Lily and Camden, and to the end had their best interests in mind. He loved nothing more than being dad and husband. He loved playing tackle football and wrestling with Camden and being Lily’s loyal bucking bronco. He invested in the 3 of them with extreme intentionality through play, conversation, sports, campouts, family dinners, game nights, snuggly movie nights, vacations, and date nights. He was extremely generous with his time, money and heart. He had the kindest blue eyes, and the most genuine, wonderful laugh that he often shared with others. He made others feel valuable and important. He modeled God’s steadfast love. He constantly drew near to God, and worked tirelessly at becoming a better husband, dad and Christ follower. He pursued God and others well. He made sure to seek out godly men and learn from their wisdom, now we know they were actually learning from him. His reward in Heaven is great and his legacy here on earth will live on in all our hearts.

Jason is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Linsie Christin (Abney) Goza; his beautiful children: Lily and Camden Goza; his mother: Leola Goza; brother: Darrell Goza and wife Emily, and family; sisters: Andrea Gunderson and husband Scott and family, and Kristy Pearson and family; step-mother: Becky Goza; brother-in-law: Jeff Abney and wife Kristin and family; mother and father-in-law: Ron and Kathy Abney; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Goza; and grandmother-in-law: Verna Wilson.

Private graveside services are to be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Rockwall, Texas, with Pastor Shannon Collins officiating.
