Pasquale “Pat” Phillip DelVecchio, age 78, of Fate/Royse City, TX, of 14 years, passed away on July 15, 2020. He was born August 30, 1941, in New Haven, CT, to Pasquale DelVecchio and Nancy (Calandro) DelVecchio. He was a loving husband, father, and grandpa. Pat was a jokester. He loved singing, crowds, people, and big parties. Making people smile brought him joy. He was a people person who never met a stranger. Pat loved visiting Disneyworld. He was very proud of his grandson who joined the army. Pat’s presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Pat is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Carmela DelVecchio; daughter: Christina Carmela Arriaga and husband Manuel; grandson Michael Gambardella; step-grandchildren: Calli Arriaga, Carli Shewmake and husband Dustin, Caitlin Hill and husband Josh, Courtnie Arriaga, and Candice Arriaga; brother: Joseph DelVecchio; sisters: Marianne Pernal, and Martha DelVecchio; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Phillip DelVecchio, and Louis DelVecchio; and his parents.
A memorial mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church will be held at a later date.
