Reuel “Bud” Arnold Seaholm, 90, a 30-year resident of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on June 1, 2020. Reuel was born to Carl Arnold Seaholm and Esther (Brodd) Seaholm in Chicago, Illinois, on January 31, 1930. He was a hardworking man, proud of the work he had done, but the most important part of his life was his family. Reuel was a devoted husband and father and was married for 59 years to his best friend Elizabeth, before her passing in 2015.
Reuel worked for over 40 years with Montgomery Elevator Company, eventually becoming the Vice President of Western Manufacturing, a subsidiary of Montgomery Elevator. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.
Bud is survived by his son, Tim Seaholm and wife Jane; daughter, Kim Halloran and husband Mike; grandchildren: Jacob Seaholm and wife Laura, and Josh Seaholm and wife Hannah, and Rachel McKee and husband Iain; and great-granddaughters, Maddi and Livvi Seaholm. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Seaholm; and sisters: Adeleine Wiemken, Marian Zeise and June Sandberg, and his parents.
Memorial services are pending to celebrate Bud’s life.
