Anselmo Flores Obituary

Anselmo Flores, Jr., age 68 of Murphy, TX, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on March 3, 2020. He was born July 27, 1951, in Mercedes, TX, to Anselmo and Amalia (Martinez) Flores. Anselmo attended First Baptist Church of Wylie. He retired from General Motors in 2000 after 30 years of devoted service.

Anselmo is survived by daughters: Norma Flores of Wichita Falls, TX, Cynthia Flores of Allen, TX, Leticia Aquallo of Wichita Falls, TX, Raquel Baylon of Dallas, TX, and Laura Flores of Murphy, TX; sister: Melissa Rubalcado of Schultz, TX; grandchildren: Andrew and Lexus Aquallo, Colin and Kaley Nguyen, and Diego Baylon. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rosalva in 2015, sister Maria Pena, and brother Arnold Flores.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, March 6, 2020, at Rest Haven Funeral Home Rowlett Location with ordained minister Linda Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will gather with friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
