Russell Wayne Neeley Obituary

Russell Wayne Neeley, age 56, of Rockwall, TX, passed away on November 28, 2019. He was born August 28, 1963, in Corsicana, TX, to Bobby Lynn Neeley and Wanda Lou (Fultz) Neeley. Russ was a devout Christian and attended Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall. He was a loving devoted husband, father, son, and friend. Russ made friends very easily. He could talk to almost anyone and enjoyed making people laugh. He was an intentional friend, who was welcoming and selfless. Russ could give tough love and say what had to be said but at the end of the day, he made sure you knew how much he loved you and how proud of you he was. He will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years: Sherri Lynn (Collins) Neeley; sons: Patrick Fraser, Griffin Fraser and fiancé Chelsey, and Ryan Neeley; daughter: Cristina Wilkes and husband Conner; sister: Becky Neeley; mother: Wanda Neeley; and countless cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father: Bobby Neeley.

A celebration of Russell’s life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 13, 2019, at The Bridge at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, TX.
