Rockwall County Invites Public to Comment on the Outer Loop Project – Mark Your Calendars!

Rockwall County, Texas – November 1, 2024 – Rockwall County is moving forward with plans for a new roadway from Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 2755 to State Highway (SH) 205, encompassing approximately 14.4 miles across Collin, Rockwall, and Kaufman Counties. As part of this initiative, a public meeting has been scheduled to update the community on the project’s progress and gather valuable feedback from residents.

In-Person Meeting:

  • Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Location: Rockwall County Courthouse Liberty Hall, 1111 E Yellow Jacket Lane #401, Rockwall, Texas 75087

Virtual Meeting:

  • Time: Begins at 5:30 p.m. on November 14, 2024, and will remain accessible until November 29, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.

This project is an essential part of the regional Outer Loop, which aims to enhance local transportation by constructing four general purpose lanes, four frontage road lanes, and shared-use paths within a typical right-of-way. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to voice their opinions and ask questions about the project.
