(HEATH, TX – Nov. 4, 2019) The first annual Heath Farmers Market at Towne Center Park has enjoyed a banner opening season thus far. Vendors, shoppers, and concert-goers all three have been delighted by the full fall experience right here in Hometown Heath. Each week brings new vendors with a beautiful, delicious, and diverse array of offerings, along with phenomenal live music on the Tate Farms Stage.
Most of all, though, the Heath Farmers Market has created a wonderful sense of togetherness and community for Heath’s citizens and surrounding neighbors, young and old alike. A beautiful open-air, upscale meandering market in a pastoral setting with the best bakers, makers, ranchers, farmers, artists and producers. With three playgrounds, room to run and roam, yard games, lounges, sweets and eats, so-fine wine and music sublime – what’s not to love?
As the Heath Farmers Market enters its final four weekends of this inaugural season, every week will continue to level up its offerings ahead of the holidays, with a variety of unique gifts and goods, and everything needed to pull off the finest feasts. From specialty wine from Berkshire Farms Winery, free range whole turkeys from Rehoboth Ranch, to the perfect fall pie from Bonafide Betties, and everything in between, the Market does not disappoint. And don’t forget the freshest produce, seasonings, goods and eats, and the best desserts from The Baklava Lady and other outstanding local bakers. Stroll, sip, savor, shop – stay the day or come back in the evening to soak in the sounds of locally loved musical guests such as Brandon Bamburg on November 9, the renowned Matt Hillyer, Steve Berg, and Jordan Hendrix from Eleven Hundred Springs on November 16, and The O’s on November 23.
To celebrate this outstanding season of firsts – November 30th’s market will be a true Grand Finale, as we host the widely hailed up-and-comer, Tanner Usrey, then thank our community for their support in our final free evening concert featuring none other than Texas Music Legend, Ray Wylie Hubbard.
And since we’re talking about big firsts – thanks to the Heath Economic Development Corporation, Heath will celebrate yet another milestone: marking the end of this debut season with a literal bang – our very first City of Heath Fireworks Show, just after 8 pm. Special thanks to our sponsor, Rob Whittle and the Heath Golf & Yacht Club, for sharing our vision and making it all possible. This is your market. Come enjoy!
