Gladys Walterine Faulk, age 91, of Mesquite, TX, passed away August 26, 2022. She was born June 26, 1931, in Cumby, TX, to Walter and Gladys McVay. Gladys grew up and raised her family in Dallas, TX. In her youth, she enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles. Gladys had a knack for gardening and sewing. Her family was important to her and she loved spending time with them. Gladys will be missed dearly.
Gladys is survived by her children: Sharon Roy and husband Dewayne, Karon Cantrelle, and Brent Faulk; grandchildren: Kristi Smith and husband Chad, Keely Herbst, Jonathan Roy and wife Rachel, and Jason Faulk; great-grandchildren: Harper Smith, Hayes Smith, Jake Roy and Blake Roy; and sisters: Glenda Sissel and Brenda Gates. She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Faulk; her parents; brother: James McVay; and sister: Gloria Gilbert.
Gravesides services will be held 10:00am Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
