Bob is the second oldest of nine children, left West Virginia when he was 18 years old and eventually ended up in the suburban area of Chicago Illinois. There he spent his early adult life having a family of three children and operating his own Full-Service Gas stations and towing services. In 1974 Bob moved to Texas, where he spent the remainder of his life, first working as a mechanic and then with his wife Nancy building his business Roadmaster Automotive. Bob & Nancy celebrated their 40th year anniversary in February this year. Bob spent his life working hard and playing just as hard. He loved his humongous family, being on a boat, traveling by RV, gardening in his backyard, and watching football. Bob lived his life with a youthful disposition and was free-spirited. He never met a stranger and worked to take care of other people’s needs whether they were family, friends, or strangers. Bob gave away more than he made, and he never passed up an opportunity to make someone laugh, smile, or scratch off a lottery ticket. Bob is celebrating going home to the loved ones that preceded him and leaving behind numerous family members and friends who loved him.
