Florence Evelyn Lamb, age 87 of Garland, TX, passed away April 23, 2022. She was born January 27, 1935, in Lake Providence, LA, to Joseph and Alys (Burney) Peskin. Florence was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and loved going to church. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed making and keeping a home for them. Her hobbies included painting and crocheting. Florence loved her family deeply and they loved her. She will be dearly missed.
Florence is survived by her children: Ann Lamb, Edward Lamb and wife JoAnn, Paul Lamb and wife Vicki; grandchildren: April Parker, Kyle, David and Daniel Lamb; brother Frank Peskin; and five beloved great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Centerville Road Church of Christ, 1102 East Centerville Road, Garland, TX 75041. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org
