William Pitt Hudman of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the age of 78 in Fate, Texas. William, “Chuck” to his friends, was born in Montgomery on September 10, 1943, to father James Isaac Hudman and mother Frances Melrose Hudman. He was the youngest of five children. William served his country for 22 years in the Navy. While stationed at Mare Island Naval Base, he met his future wife, Uletha Ann Sisemore. They married in 1966 and had three daughters.
Will was preceded in death by his wife: Uletha Ann Hudman; his parents; brother: Bill Hudman; and sisters: Pauline Smith, Julia Pettis and Minnie Boothe. He is survived by his three daughters: Jacqueline (Daniel) Schuetz, Pamela (Robert) Bennett, and Doreen Hanson; three precious granddaughters: Elizabeth Bennett, Victoria (Jacob) Smith, and Kari-ann Hanson; along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for William is planned for Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 9 am to 10 am. The visitation will be at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 2500 State Hwy 66 East, Rockwall, Texas. The funeral will follow immediately at 10 am.
