Josekutty Chacko Thoppil, age 78 of Parker, Tx passed away on Monday, February 28th, 2022. He was born on May 18th, 1943 in India to Chacko Changankerry and Rosamma Chacko. He was a faithful member of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Garland and devoted head of his family.
Josekutty is survived by his wife, Annamma Thoppil; children, Julie Jacob and husband Sinichan Jacob and Joby Thoppil and wife Reeni Thoppil; and grandchildren, Sanjana Ann Jacob, Salena Rose Jacob, Soniya Maria Jacob, Samantha Julia Jacob, Akhil Joseph Thoppil and Anil Mathew Thoppil. He is the fourth of eleven siblings and is survived by his two sisters Annamma Mukkadan and Sister Eva Thoppil and brother Kuriakose Thoppil Changankerry. He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings, Baby Vettukad, Georgekutty Thoppil, Jameskutty Thoppil, Leelamma Lukose, Lusamma Chacko, Thomaskutty Thoppil, and Kuttapen Thoppil.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 4922 Rosehill Road, Garland, Tx 75043. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett. There will be a wake service for family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, March 3rd at Rest Haven funeral home and a separate wake service for family and friends from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, March 4th at St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Church.
