Thomas Lee Zercher, age 68, passed away on February 9, 2022. He was a long-time resident of the Dallas/Fort Worth area for over 40 years. He was born July 29, 1953, in Russell, KS, to Gustav Adolph Zercher and Martha (Tittel) Zercher. Thomas enjoyed woodworking, making pens and playing golf. Thomas raised his family in Dallas before moving to Rockwall. He and his wife, Kathy enjoyed 40 years of marriage together. Thomas retired from Old Dominion Freight Line after 20 years of service. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Thomas will be deeply missed.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife: Kathy Zercher of Rockwall, TX; daughter: Jennifer Jennings and husband Josh of Rockwall, TX; son: Kevin Zercher of Rockwall, TX; grandchildren: Eli Jennings, Tate Jennings, Madison Jennings, Brooklyn Zercher, McKenna Zercher, and Lincoln Zercher; and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister: Dora Zercher; and his parents.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 3:00 to 5:00pm Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Location.
