William “Bill” Eshleman passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15 at the age of 82 with family by his side. He died from complications following a heart attack and six full cardiac arrests at Medical City Hospital in Fort Worth. Bill graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas and joined the Marine Corps in 1958. He served three full tours of war duty in Vietnam and retired in 1979 following 21 years of distinguished service. Bill worked 50+ hours a week driving an armored car while taking a full class load at Richland College at night. After earning a degree, he began working for E-Systems until the merger with Raytheon offered him an opportunity to retire and embark on his lifelong dream of being a full-time amateur golfer.

He is survived by his wife Judy, his brother Robert Eshleman of Big Spring, TX and his brother’s sister. He is also survived by sons Steve in Coppell, Walter in Nashville, TN and Chris in Fort Worth, and his daughter Brenda in Fort Worth.
