Rockwall, TX – May 2026 – Rockwall Independent School District is inviting educators and specialized professionals to explore career opportunities at its upcoming Teacher & SPED Professional Job Fair on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The event will take place at the Rockwall-Heath High School 9th Grade Campus, located at 2727 S. John King Blvd. in Rockwall.
Rockwall ISD is currently hiring for a variety of positions, including:
- Teachers
- ARD Facilitators
- Behavior Specialists
- Dyslexia Teachers
- Homebound Teachers
- Occupational Therapists
- School Psychologists
- Speech Language Pathologists
The district offers a starting teacher salary of $63,500, with $65,000 for candidates holding a master’s degree, along with a range of additional benefits and incentives. These include a supportive program for first-year teachers, teacher incentive allotments, employee perks, and stipends for advanced degrees and high-needs areas.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with alternative certification representatives, who will be available to answer questions about becoming a certified teacher.
