🎉 Bunco & Bubbles Fundraiser Set for April 4
Organization: Lone Star CASA

Tickets are now on sale for Lone Star CASA’s sixth annual Bunco & Bubbles fundraiser at The Castle at Rockwall. The event will feature brunch, bottomless mimosas, Bunco games, a silent auction, and raffle prizes.
Proceeds support volunteer advocates who represent abused and neglected children in Rockwall and Kaufman counties.
💙 “Go Blue for Kids” Kickoff Party Scheduled March 26
Organization: Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County
Date: March 1, 2026
The Children’s Advocacy Center will launch its annual Go Blue for Kids campaign with a kickoff party at Standard Service in Heath. The family-friendly event will include live entertainment, cotton candy, prizes, and a kid zone.
The campaign highlights Child Abuse Prevention Month and encourages community participation.
🏆 Rockwall ISD Communications Team Wins Statewide Awards
Organization: Rockwall Independent School District
Date: March 4, 2026
Rockwall ISD’s Communications Department earned Best of Category honors and multiple Star Awards at the Texas School Public Relations Association conference.
Winning entries included Teacher of the Year commemorative boards, promotional videos, event graphics, sports photography, and design work.

🎓 31 Rockwall ISD Students Advance to State BPA Competition

Thirty-one students from the Dr. Gene Burton College & Career Academy have advanced to the Business Professionals of America state competition after strong performances at the regional leadership conference.
Students placed first in events including network design, website design, visual design, and small-business management.

🎶 Youth Symphony Hosts “Symphony of Color Kickoff”

The City of Heath will host its annual Heart of Heath 5K and 1-Mile Family Run at Towne Center Park. The event includes chip-timed races, awards, vendor booths, family activities, and community entertainment.
Proceeds benefit Heath’s parks and trails system.
