New year-long veteran support initiative focuses on stability, dignity, and lasting impact
Rockwall, TX – January 12, 2026 – Operation Forward, a newly launched community initiative based in Rockwall, Texas, is now accepting nominations for a deserving veteran in need. Designed as an annual legacy program, Operation Forward is built to create meaningful, long-term impact through structured support and community-driven action.
Unlike traditional one-time giveaways, Operation Forward is a 12-month commitment designed to restore stability, dignity, confidence, and well-being through wraparound support, accountability, and partnership.
Operation Forward is built on the belief that lasting change does not happen overnight, but through consistent support, accountability, and community investment. Each year, the program selects one veteran in need and surrounds them with a structured, year-long life reset designed to restore forward momentum and rebuild confidence. The initiative brings together local businesses, organizations, and community leaders who believe in honoring service through action—not just words.
Founded by Stavros Kaplaneris, Operation Forward was created to move beyond expressions of gratitude and instead deliver tangible, measurable impact for veterans facing life challenges.
Nominations Now Open
Nominations officially open January 12, 2026 at 7:00 PM and will be accepted through March 1, 2026.
The recipient must be selected by March 14, 2026, allowing the Operation Forward team time to coordinate and ensure the selected veteran can attend the April event.

The chosen Operation Forward recipient will receive a comprehensive package of support designed to address multiple areas of life and long-term stability, including:
- Reliable transportation
- One year of auto insurance coverage
- One year of fuel assistance
- A mattress, pillow cover set, mattress protector, and two pillows
- One year of professional home cleaning services
- One year of gym membership and guided personal training
- One year of chiropractic care
- One year of professional financial planning support
- One year of life coaching services
- One year of professional grooming services
