Dudley’s Sports Grill is hosting its first Lobster & Live Music Fest in Rockwall, a 12-day event featuring a special lobster menu, daily live music, giveaways and local community activities.
The festival began Aug. 19 and continues through Aug. 30 at Dudley’s Sports Grill, 2975 State Highway 66 in Rockwall.
Throughout the event, Dudley’s is offering a special menu centered on Maine lobster, with dishes including lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese, lobster rolls, lobster grilled cheese and whole lobster pasta. According to the restaurant, the event features wild-caught Maine lobster.
Live music is scheduled each day of the festival, with a rotating lineup of local and regional performers. Artists appearing during the event include Kenneth Waters, Zach Romo, Kevin May, Glen Mitchell, Carissa Carter, Cody Cresswell, Pete Garner, Brandon Callies, Ronnie Smith, Michael Summers, Dani Reed, Mark Barker and Eric Chase, along with DJ STX on the festival’s final day.
The festival also includes several themed days and community activities. A local vendors pop-up is planned for Thursday, Aug. 27, featuring area vendors and small businesses. Other scheduled activities include giveaways, raffle opportunities and special event nights throughout the festival.
Dudley’s is also hosting a $1,000 “Big Catch” raffle during the event. According to promotional materials provided by the restaurant, qualifying lobster food and beverage purchases earn entries into the raffle.
The Lobster & Live Music Fest runs through Sunday, Aug. 30, and is open to the public.
