Rockwall & Kaufman Counties, TX – December 19, 2025 – Lone Star CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) brought joy to children this Christmas season, made possible by the incredible generosity of local donors, volunteers, community groups, and corporate partners.

For children, the abrupt removal from their home due to abuse or neglect is deeply traumatic. Being separated from their families during the holidays can make that experience even more painful. Thanks to the support of CASA Volunteers and the kindness of the community, many children are able to experience comfort, joy, and holiday cheer during this difficult time.

“Even though these children are separated from their families, your generosity helps them feel seen, valued, and loved,” said Lone Star CASA’s Executive Director, Lauren Rowe. “Every gift, every moment of encouragement, and every act of kindness reminds them they are not alone.”

This year, these groups and individuals rallied around Lone Star CASA to ensure Christmas for the children they serve, is filled with happiness and hope:

  • Arise Realty Group
  • Baylor Scott & White Neurology Department
  • Boys Team Charity – Lakeside League
  • Candius Stills-Truscott
  • Charlie Health
  • Eastridge Church of Christ
  • In Bounds Sports Training & NTX Elite Baseball
  • Mayo-Wright Consultants
  • Lakepointe Church
  • Ledbetter Eagle Ford Community Food Pantry

  • Toys for Tots – Rockwall
  • UPS (Kaufman)
  • Vroom Inc.
  • Xi Delta Sigma of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. Inc.

Their collective efforts along with the support of many individuals provided much-needed comfort for children. Items such as stuffed animals, headphones, footballs, and baby dolls filled Lone Star CASA’s holiday space in abundance. Lone Star CASA expresses heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of community generosity and special thanks to those who helped pack and distribute these gifts.

Lone Star CASA encourages community members to get involved by becoming a CASA Volunteer. Volunteers stand alongside children experiencing abuse and neglect and make a meaningful, lasting impact on their lives. Other ways to support CASA all year round include: a financial contribution, an in-kind donation, or purchasing an item from Lone Star CASA’s Amazon Wishlist. Every gift directly and immediately supports children in foster care in Rockwall and Kaufman Counties.
