Swedish Business Delegation Visits Dallas to Strengthen Innovation and Green Infrastructure Collaboration

Dallas, TX – November 2025 – A delegation of Swedish companies and innovation leaders will visit Dallas-Fort Worth next week November 18-20, 2025, to connect Swedish solutions and innovations with Dallas’ ambitious Climate Action Plan and explore relevant collaboration on sustainability, green infrastructure, and technology with Dallas city leaders and companies.

The visit is organized by Sweden’s Green Transition Initiative (GTI) in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate of Sweden in Dallas and the City of Dallas Office of Environmental Quality & Sustainability and follows a successful Texas delegation to Sweden earlier this fall.

Who:

• Swedish companies including Volvo Construction Equipment, Husqvarna Construction, Alfa Laval, and Viable Cities, among others

• Oppong Hemeng, Senior Climate Coordinator, City of Dallas Office of Environmental Quality & Sustainability

• Anna Hammarlund Blixt, Consul General of Sweden, Houston • Helene Honeybone, Honorary Consul of Sweden in Dallas

What:

• A 3-day business program including site visits and roundtables with City of Dallas, Dallas Economic Development Corporation and Inspire Dallas

• Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Sustainability Team

• Local developers and sustainability leaders including Matthews Development, Jacobs, Overland Partners, and Carcon Industries & Construction

The delegation will also take part in a Swedish Company Delegation Dinner Reception, hosted by the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce Texas, on Tuesday, November 18, at The Rodeo Bar at The Adolphus Hotel.
