ROWLETT, TX — November 7, 2025 — The City of Rowlett invites everyone to join us at Veterans Park (3900 Main Street) on Monday, November 11, at 11 a.m. for our annual Veterans Day Ceremony to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

The ceremony will include the presentation of colors, an invocation, the Pledge of Allegiance, and remarks from elected officials, along with a keynote address by First Sergeant (Retired) Joshua Chitwood, U.S. Marine Corps, who has served more than 20 years in operations worldwide and continues to serve the community through veteran support organizations.

Attendees will also witness the Rowlett High School JROTC performing a flag retirement ceremony, a solemn tradition honoring the American flag and the values it represents.

In addition, American flags will be distributed to attendees by the North Dallas County Kiwanis Club. A moment of silence will be held to honor those who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms.

In recognition of our military members, the Rowlett water tower will be lit in red, white, and blue on the evenings of November 10 and 11, and our brand-new Stars on Main bistro lights will also illuminate in a patriotic display.

  • Date: Monday, November 11, 2025
  • Time: 11:00 a.m.
  • Location: Veterans Park, 3900 Main Street, Rowlett, TX
